WHERE WAS SHE JOURNEYING FROM? YET ANOTHER FAR-TRAVELING BRONZE AGE TEENAGE GIRL IS DISCOVERED IN DENMARK
One might assume most girls in Bronze Age Europe of about 1200 BC did not have the means to travel about and just stayed in one place their entire lives. But analysis of the remains of two women from the era in Denmark show that at least some traveled far distances. They both died young but appear to have had healthy lives until near the end and were given honorable burials in oak coffins and burial mounds.
